Illegal parking costs man to pay $4,600 fine

Parking fine

A truck driver from Georgia who illegally parked at a shopping center will never forget the day he broke the parking rules. He ended up with a fine worth $4,600.00.

Amer Meqdadi, was fined with a whopping $4,600 dollars after he parked illegally at a Carlisle shopping center and after the police officers discovered that he was responsible for an accident and other violations.

On Wednesday morning, Meqdadi illegally parked at the Carlisle Commons and when officers have to give him a fine, they found out that his truck has leaked a large amount of motor oil and anti-freeze which can be very dangerous when inhaled.

When the officer followed the oil trail from the truck, they found out that a pole in the  parking lot was damage. A red paint coming from the truck also damaged the yellow paint from the pole, which can cause accidents as yellow paint serves as signal during the night.

Meqdadi  admited that he struck the pole the night before and failed to report the incident to the officers.

A resulting inspection found an outdated log book, a false record of duty, tire violation that placed the truck out of service and needs to be towed. He was also cited for ignoring several “no trucks” signs posted at the shopping center that’s why his fine blew that big.
