Man and his 12-year photo slide show goes viral
Noah Kalina, a photographer by profession took pictures of himself everyday for 6 years. Now, he put it in a fast slide show, uploaded it through Youtube and now a viral sensation.
This project was 12.5 years in the making and have started from January 11, 200 to June 30, 2012 where everyday, Noah took pictures of himself staring blankly on the camera and compiled them.
The slideshow is composed of 4,514 pictures featuring himself only. The only thing that changes are the background, his hair and dress. In a matter of 7 minutes, viewers can witness Noah age for 12 years. During the slideshow, you can see that Kalina grew beards and the transition of changes were quite awesome.
According to Kalina the video features 10 frames per second, a month of his pictures are seen in 3 seconds and his 12-year life starting when he was 19 was seen in more than 7 minutes.
Kalina has been a photographer all his life and you can see it through his website (www.noahkalina.com). One of his high end popular project was the wedding of Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan where he is the responsible for the picture of the couple in the garden that Mark posted through his Facebook account.
The video was uploaded Noah Kalina himself on September 4, 2012 and as of the writing it already has 2,008,603 hits with 7,466 likes and 372 dislikes.
