A popular Canadian artist set his 18th Guiness World Record by putting the most number of people in a bubble on Wednesday, September 18 in Vancouver.
Fan Yang, an international bubble artist bought his family-run Gazillion Bubble Show in Vancouver’s Science World to set his new record. Yang assembled an 181-group of people who stood very still and waited until Yang, along with his members enveloped them inside a bubble.
His previous record was 125 people.
Freddie Hoff, a representative of Guiness was present in the event and confirmed that Yang broke his previous record.
“That is officially a Guinness World Record achievement. The record was broken today with 181 people, the previous one was with 125 people.” Hoff said speaking in front of the volunteers.
“It was a huge challenge, I’m very excited”, Yang said speaking in front of Metro News reporter. “You always have to do more”.
This event took Yang 6 months to complete. His bubbles, which are quite strong is created using his secret formula. The mixture was invented based on his pure research and experiments that took him his lifetime to master.
“In my childhood imagination, I was so passionate and fascinated with small, tiny bubbles. I always thought how beautiful it would be if I could make a big one and go inside”, Yang said.
