A skydiver wanted to take a video on his way down, but his camera, a GoPro fell first. What’s surprising is when he landed, he found out that his camera was undamaged.
Lucas Damm recently did a jump near Pitt Meadows. He attached a camera on his helmet, hoping that he can capture the moments during his fall. Upon his exit, he hit the frame of the door unclasping the latch of the box and in just five seconds the camera fell.
Damm had no idea until he landed. His fellow skydiver found the camera on a grass field near the landing site, without any damages or even scratch. He took note that it fell 12,500 feet. ”I go to turn it off and I didn’t hear it beeping, and I know the [spot where the camera is held] is open and I just start freaking out”, he told Right This Minute.
“It’s just one of those random things”, he said. “It’s like winning the lottery of lotteries. For everything to come together the way that it happened is mind-boggling”.
The best part of the video is that the camera also captured their landing.
According to the video description. A same thing happened to his fellow skydiver and his SLR gave the opposite result.
Some viewers found it hoax and just another camera advertisement. But, Damm swore that it’s a real happening.
